The Better Place
As the world goes through this pandemic it is important for people to know that The Bible teaches clearly there is a better place awaiting all who have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ. This glorious message has been proclaimed for all who have ears to hear. Have you head the message concerning God’s saving Grace? The Gospel telling how Jesus The Son chose to live among us. The Bible proclaims that although Jesus is Lord of all, He willingly came to show a better way, and die in order to atone for sin, thereby offering redemption and granting sight to the spiritually blind.
The good news concerning Jesus’ message of hope has been carried down to you and I because of God’s love for each one. He desires that all hear of His love and turn to Jesus for redemption and a better life. Having confessed our need of Jesus’s sacrifice for atonement, we are forgiven and are born anew receiving the promise of living for eternity with our Heavenly Father, in that eternal better place. So how does one know if they will be eligible for that better place? The Holy Spirit inspired men to record God’s message of salvation to humanity.
The Bible is God’s word onto us, where we learn of His plan of salvation for you and I. In the gospel accounts we are introduced to Jesus and His ministry. It is here that we see the love of God demonstrated as Jesus reaches out to people bringing hope by proclaiming God’s Kingdom. The Kingdom brings hope not only for the future but also for this life as Colossians 1:13-14 states: “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
Although the death of Jesus upon the cross seems a terrible tragedy, in actuality God used it to bring salvation as Paul further explained: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” (Romans 5:8-11)
It was a forever life changing day when I believed the message, and accepted God’s promise of forgiveness falling to my knees and repenting of my sin. Although my life is now in a better place, I am also looking forward to that Eternal Better Place, knowing one day my eyes will close when pain and sorrows cease. As the scriptures promise there will be peace when, in the presence of my Lord eternal life will begin in that Heavenly place without sin. Scripture tells how this world will eventually pass away, saying it will happen at a fast pace as Jesus appears, calling his own to The Eternal Better Place. (1 Thessalonians 5:2)
Today, let us praise our Glorious Lord for the promise of Heaven.
