Sharing The Gospel Message.
As we go through our daily lives, changes come in so many ways. The loss of loved ones and friends should bring one to the place where we take stock spiritually. We should ask ourselves: "is my faith built on solid rock?" also: "when I die will my sins be forgiven or, must I face eternal separation from God?" The very thought of what that entails should make one shudder. We each must make our choice, either live life on our own accord, or, - hear and obey the Gospel which clearly teaches how Our Heavenly Father sent His Son, who made the way possible for reconciliation with our God.
When we accept Jesus sacrifice for our sins we are ready to meet The Lord. It no longer matters when His coming will occur, or when we pass from this life because, things are now well with our soul. As the Scriptures say: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." - Romans 8:1. It is important to understand that if a religious path dose not teach, and follow the Scripture’s in The Bible, it is not teaching God’s Truth - The Gospel - and therefore will not lead to Salvation.
As followers of The Gospel - which means The Good News- we should be mindful of the instructions in 1 Peter 3:15: “in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,” The enemy of our souls has dressed up false religion in many attractive, but deadly deceptive packages, calling them truths. Contrary to the deception, our Heavenly Father has shown His Love to a lost and deceived humanity by sending His Son as our Savior.
The New Testament exposes the errors of the spiritual path’s of the world compared to the truth of the life changing message of The Gospel. As believers, and servants of Jesus Christ, we are required to lovingly share the life changing Gospel with those who do not know Jesus. In turn this will occasionally bring the charge that we Christians are been judgmental and uncharitable. One must ask the question; what is more uncharitable, to allow another to follow a belief system that will lead to eternal judgement, or, to lovingly give them the Gospel of Truth which will lead to eternal life as directed by Jesus:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20.
Today, let us be faithful to our calling and share The Good News.
