This Uncertain World.
In this uncertain world, days filled with anxiety will produce worry, bringing sleepless nights. Whilst looking for a life of quality, do you instead feel despair and fear? On the other hand, do you look toward Heaven, seeing The One who is ever near? People who have a meaningful faith, are inclined to look at life differently. Scripture teaches that there is one who is our peace and promising hope unseen.
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”(Romans 5:1-5)
In this uncertain world, I find myself trusting in The Lord, not relying on my own ability. I have come to know how The Good Shepherd leads us to pastures green. (Psalm 23:2) Who is this Lord promising peace? Jesus, God’s only Son who came to redeem you and I, through Him life's struggles can be overcome. Our life in this world may be uncertain, however, through Jesus we can have the hope of an eternal future with Him in Glory.
Today, let us praise The Lord for the promise of peace.
