Can I jump in here? One of the reasons why evilution is so popular these days is because it does explain life without God. If there is no God, then there is no answering to a God. And if there is no answering to a God, then we can do whatever we want and whenever we want to. Some people - usually those who do not believe in God - explain life away with beliefs like "party hardy" or " rock and roll until you die and then you turn into compost". Fine examples of doing and thinking wrong thought all the time. I'm one of these old fashioned guys who believe that your soul and my soul will live forever. So, it isn't a matter of whether or not, your soul will live or not but rather it is WHERE your soul is going to live forever. Make sense? Feel free to jump in anywhere gator. A very good post comparing the ways of the world to the ways of The Kingdom.

With a mind like God's, all He has to do is flip a channel and we're in an entirely different reality. It doesn't even have to follow the laws of physics in our universe. His mind controls all reality. But our job is, of course, to speak to those in this universe, and make rational sense with those who are accustomed only to this world. And then, we can speak life from God's world into this world and open up the minds of those who have been enslaved only to this world's reality. People who think they can just party with reckless abandon are actually trying to convince themselves that it's okay, because no God has come down and submitted to them to tell them He exists. He will never submit to His own creatures, but they will have to learn to submit to Him. I don't blame this world's scientists for coming up with Evolution as an explanation for how this world came to be, with all of its diversity. They simply have nothing else to go by without capitulating to metaphysics or religion. And you can't put those into a test tube. For all of the creative ways people have tried to use natural evolution as an explanation for diversity in the universe, I think most rational people will realize it's unsatisfactory--just a crutch until new information comes in. We have to be that new information, without condemning their view, but by using what they know to introduce something that *we know.*

Amen. Two good posts showing the sort of world that we are living in and the need to let our light shine.

We have to be that new information, without condemning their view, but by using what they know to introduce something that *we know.* My comment really has nothing to do with the subject matter but I was reminded by the "you can't put that in a test tube" of a talk I went to 18 years ago regarding the behavior of cells. It was about how cells behave to low levels of light. The scientist had a petri dish with a culture of human cells growing in it and then put a low power laser beam through pat of the petri-dish. The cells that were on the edge of the beam had responded by migrating into the light with almost like arms reaching into the beam and then pulling themselves over where they all nestled together in a clump at the brightest spot they could get. He had shown a video of this happening. And then the talk went on to discuss how low levels of light applied to injured area of the body could potentially be able to accelerate healing. I was a total skeptic at the beginning of the lecture but after seeing the results my outlook had changed and i became open to the idea. Even at the cellular level nature is drawn into light. God is the light of my soul and those who have never witnessed the light have no idea what they aren't experiencing. Once we experience God's light we rejoice and want the share that feeling with our fellow men who have yet to enter into the light. May God bless each one of us to enter into His light and eternal love.

That is very interesting Ted. So why can't we bring some light into "Joe's Bar & Grill" and get the people in there to come into the light?

This is a pretty good illustration for the folks who think that long age and chance alone could ever form the bonds of life. According to this and everything else I have ever read on the subject, it can't happen - not now, not never.
